Mary-Jean Butler's oil paintings reflect the rugged landscape of British Columbia's mountains and coastline. Her characteristic colour palette and bold composition have been influenced by her education in both Fine Art + Graphic Design. A love of nature is evident in her canvases as she translates the subtle shifting of light and transient moments captured throughout the seasons on the West Coast.
